My name is Chen, and I'm just an ordinary guy with no particular talents. I'm not versed in social graces, and I often struggle with conversations and handling things properly. In my free time, I don't have many special interests—mostly reading novels and playing games, which might be considered simple pleasures, though I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I've always wanted to learn an instrument, master a foreign language, or try writing poetry, but I can never stick with it. This blog is simply a place to record bits of my life, so I can look back later and recall the little moments.
The blog's name, "Chain of Thoughts," which carries a thoughtful meaning on multiple levels. The word "Chain" creates a gentle phonetic echo of my surname "Chen" in Chinese, forming a personal connection to my identity. More profoundly, "Chain of Thoughts" perfectly captures what this space is about—a continuous linking of ideas, reflections, and insights. Just as individual thoughts connect to form deeper understanding, this blog serves as a space where I weave together my daily observations, personal growth moments, and philosophical musings.
The logo of this blog draws inspiration from a classic data structure—the Red-Black Tree. I use it as a metaphor to express the relationship between "rational structure" and "emotional expression." The black root node at the center symbolizes rationality, rules, stability, and introspection—the foundation from which all ideas and words grow. The surrounding red leaf nodes represent expression, feelings, inspiration, and emotions—the way thoughts extend outward and find their voice.
This blog is primarily built on VuePress and vuepress-theme-plume with minor customizations. My deepest gratitude goes to the developers for their selfless contributions—this website stands as a humble tribute to their remarkable work.
Purchased a cloud server from Hengtian Cloud and deployed the blog on it, enabling access anytime, anywhere.

Added Life Journey Timeline
Since there's already a site journey timeline to record blog changes, I decided to add a life journey timeline to simply document my personal milestones. However, there's nothing significant to add yet, so it remains empty for now.

Added Timeline Feature
I thought it would be nice to include a timeline on the About page to showcase my blogging journey and keep a simple record. I've added a site journey section to track the evolution of Chain of Thoughts.

Changed Blog Name
Initially, I considered naming my blog 'I Don't Eat Cilantro', which felt fun but lacked the essence of a proper blog name. Eventually, I settled on 'Chain of Thoughts.'

Configured Multilingual Support
I discovered that multilingual support could be easily implemented through simple configuration. Following the documentation, I added Traditional Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Korean. It was mainly for fun—perhaps without much practical value 😋—and all non-Chinese content was generated via translation.

Completed Basic Configuration
After reading the documentation, I completed the basic homepage setup, including navigation bar, sidebar, and homepage content. Additionally, I created an About page to introduce myself and share relevant information.

Started Building
After researching online tutorials, I initially chose the Valaxy framework but switched to VuePress with vuepress-theme-plume due to Valaxy's incomplete documentation.

Sudden Inspiration
While watching a video, I suddenly felt inspired to create a blog to document my life and thoughts. I had briefly attempted this before but abandoned it due to complexity.

The journey continues, with great expectations for the future
